The Gift of Discerning of Spirits 🎁
Today I was praying and asking the Lord something and I heard a voice that didn't sound right. It gave me an answer to my question but it make me feel sick to my stomach. If I didn't know the Lord's voice like I do, I could have easily been deceived because it mimiced His voice. But His sheep KNOW His voice and this wasn't it.
So I asked "Is Jesus Christ your Lord?" and it said "nooooo" in a slithering voice. The Lord showed me it was a monitoring spirit 🐍 these spirits will try to get you to go against the perfect will of God by telling you the opposite of the truth.
Right after, I heard the Lion of Judah roar and it went away and I anointed my house 🦁
Anytime I pray and I am unsure, I ask this question: "Is Jesus Christ your Lord?" and I am able to discern. According to 1 Corinthians 12:3, no one can say Jesus Christ is Lord without the Holy Spirit. I remember when my husband used to not be able to say this until the day he was saved.
I also pray Luke 8:17 daily; for everything to be exposed.
THIS is why it is important to stay in your Word. There are days when I am studying for hours because I stand heavily on scripture. We are in a war and we NEED the Word of God. It is the Sword of the Spirit, truly! It is no coincidence that Hebrews 4:12 states that the Word of God discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart. No kidding! We need to start using the Word DAILY. It is a powerful and mighty weapon 💥
